  Awesome park! Plenty of space on the grass wherever you want, shade, sun, or rain. The Santa Clara International Swim Center is there, along with a really big duck pond (not good for swimming, and kind of discusting). There are also a plethora of public tennis courts on both sides of the park, and a pro shop. There is a lawn bowling Green with free lessons, and different workout stations scattered around the park. Includes two separate playgrounds, and two separate pavilions. There are also a couple of outdoor handball courts, and a few basketball courts. The Santa Clara City Public Library is there, and has a cafeteria & bathrooms, and there are public bathrooms throughout the park as well. The Santa Clara Community Recreational Center is also in the park, and features regular classes as well as Junior Theatre Performances and special events. The park is the site of the annual Santa Clara Arts and Wine Festival, which spans the entire park. It is also the site of the annual 4th of July celebration (not a parade, just vendors, amusements, live music, and fireworks at the end!) Overall, Santa Clara Central Park is one of the most valuable civic sites in the city, and just a wonderfully place to be!
